Paul A. Dangar, Jr., 86, of Marietta, died Monday, February 9, 2015. Funeral service will be held Sunday, February 15, 2pm at Piedmont Road Church of Christ in Marietta with Milton Sewell and David Decker officiating.
Mr. Dangar had been a longtime member of Piedmont Road Church of Christ where he served as an elder for 31 years. He was the owner/operator of P.A. Dangar Incorporated in Marietta for 45 years and he and his wife, Sarah, had been married for 67 years.
Mr. Dangar is survived by his wife – Sarah B. Dangar of Marietta, sons – David E. and wife Dial Dangar, Sr. of Woodstock and Paul A. (Don) and wife Tami Dangar, III of Kennesaw, daughter – Kathy and husband Terry Moore of Marietta, and his sister – Marre Stevens of Roswell. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
In lieu of Flowers donations have been requested to be made to Raintree Village Children’s Home, raintreevillage.org, Rainbow Omega, rainbowomega.org, or to the Wellstar Foundation, wellstar.org. The family is receiving friends on Saturday, February 14 from 3-6 pm at Piedmont Road Church of Christ.
