Very sorry to hear about Paul's passing. I knew Paul from his work at KSU, and the baseball team loved him. Paul always seemed to take pride in keeping us safe. Our thoughts and prayers are for his family in this time of sorrow. God bless you all.

Saddened of this news. Paul was a good man. I knew him as our bus driver for the Kennesaw State baseball team. He always showed a genuine interest in our success. I know he is loved by many and will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Tim, we planned to come to the funeral , but Sara feels so tired tonight that we didn't feel it wise to get up in time to make the trip. She has other problems with her heart making her have such low stamina.

Mrs. Loraine, Paula, Tommy, Tim, and Jason,

We are sorry about the loss of Mr. Paul. He was a nice person who loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren. Although he will be missed, we hope the loving memories of time spent with him will provide comfort. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Paul was a trusted friend of many years. He severed as the primary driver of the Kennesaw State Athletics motor coach for over a decade. He took great pride in getting our athletes to and from destinations safely. He and Loraine are a part of the Owl Family.

Mr. V enjoyed unique relationships with we coaches. He encouraged us when needed it, and was always the first to offer congratulations after a win.

On a personal note, Susan and I want to send our heartfelt sympathies to the entire Verhine family - especially "Miss Loraine" who we love. May God comfort you all.

Loraine and Family: I am so sorry to hear about Paul's passing. He started as the KSU Athletic Department's bus driver in the 1990's, but became much more.
Paul was a friend to me and the coaches and a person that many athletes confided in. He was a member of the KSU Athletic Family and loved and respected by all those he encountered.
I will always cherish his character, his opinions and the great times that we all had together. RIP.

I never met any of you in person but felt as if I knew each one of you by talking to and keeping up with you through Facebook. I could tell from the many conversations I read that there was tremendous love in the family and all the family had a tremendous love for God. I am sure that Paul Wilburn is in heaven now and is looking down upon us, out of pain with a whole new body. I wish there was something I could say to ease the pain but we all know that is an impossible task. Lester and I are so sorry for your loss and our thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time.
