Peter C. DeGenova, 85, of Acworth, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2012. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 11 am at the Acworth United Methodist Church, and there will also be a graveside service on Wednesday beginning at 1:30 pm with full Military Honors being rendered at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.
Mr. DeGenova was a retired Veteran having served our country in both the Navy and Airforce, and obtaining the rank of MSGT. He was a member of the Acworth United Methodist Church and served as the music leader for the Celebration Singers. Mr. DeGenova was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather and Friend to all who knew him.
Those who survive are his Wife – Juanita DeGenova; Children – Tony DeGenova, Rene Donofrio, and Julie Abrams. He is also survived by his many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Brothers and Sisters.
The Family has requested in lieu of flowers donations be made to Acworth United Methodist Church, 4340 Collins Circle, Acworth, GA 30101/Music Ministry in memory of Peter DeGenova.
