Mrs. Priscilla Anne Franklin was born in Smyrna, GA on January 25th, 1948 to Carlos Edwin and Georgia Lee Stroup. Priscilla descended from a family of German origin that created Cooper's Furnace and then sold it to the company that eventually made it famous. Though this is a notable family story, the true legacy that Priscilla left behind was her tender devotion to her children, grandchildren and family as a whole.
Mrs. Franklin graduated from Campbell High School and lived a comfortable life as a mother and housewife where she was fondly described as gentle, reserved and always smiling. Her warm and quiet manner lent itself to her care of the elderly and love of animals, nature.
David and Priscilla Franklin were lovingly married for 51 years where they attended Thrive Chapel together. Through their union Mr. and Mrs. Franklin bore two lovely daughters in to this world; Krista Fife (Kevin) and Bethany Franklin. From them three grandchildren came: Elijah Patterson, Cooper Fife and Karter Fife. Aside from her spouse, children and grands, Priscilla leaves behind two brothers: Joel Stroup (Jannah) and Ronald Stroup( Tena).
In Lieu of flowers and in honor of Priscilla's nature loving hobbies such as bird watching and animal care, the family asks that you donate to Crossroad's Veterinary Hospital to https://mycrossvethospital.com/.
Mrs. Priscilla Franklin will be fondly missed as a radiant light in the life of her loved ones and her life will be celebrated through a memorial service on Friday, August 11th, 2023 at 2:00 PM.
