Rachel Wylene Page, 85, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 1st, 2024. She was born November 12th, 1938, in Marietta, Georgia. Rachel was a lifetime resident of Cobb County and a graduate of Sprayberry High School.
Rachel was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; parents, E.O. and Minnie Popham; eight brothers and three sisters. Survivors include her son, Eddie Page; daughter, Vickie Page; granddaughter, Lauren Page; grandson, Zaccary Page; and an abundance of nieces and nephews.
Rachel had a servant heart, and she was as devoted to her family as she was to the Lord. She was a great dancer and a fantastic cook. She enjoyed the beach, traveling, music, birdwatching, and word search books. Her holiday parties and Parcheesi skills were unmatched. Rachel lived with an open-door policy and was by far the happiest when family and friends filled her home. To know Rachel was to love her, and those who knew her are certainly better for it.
The family would like to thank:
Rhonda, Beth, Tara, Carol Mae, and Erin with Restful Retreat for the care and compassion they showed Rachel in her final days.
Freda and Peace for the love and support they gave Rachel during her time at Sterling.
Curtis, Paige, Terri, and the Agape hospice staff for their kindness and guidance.
