Scott was born September 5, 1963. He went home to be with the Lord January 26, 2013.
Scott grew up in Kennesaw, Georgia and attended North Cobb High School. He was the owner/operator of Craven’s Tree service for over 25 years where he was an expert tree surgeon and climber. Scott was also a talented musician, enjoying Country music and old style gospel. He would often sing and play guitar for his family and friends. He also would play his guitar and sing over the phone for his daughter Amber, so she could fall asleep.
Scott was well known for his playful sense of humor and his kindness to those less fortunate than he. He was generous, kind and loving especially to his family.
Scott was preceded in death by his Father William Auther Craven and his son Thomas Craven. He is survived by his widow Janice Floyd Thompson Craven, five children, Amber Lee Craven, Casey Craven, Angel Logan, Kristy Atkins, Luke J. Thompson Craven, and six grandchildren; Mother - Perrie Ann Jones Craven, Brother - William Van Craven, Sisters - Perry Victoria Craven De Lozia and Lynda Gail Craven Dubose.
Scott will be sorely missed by all that knew him especially his loving family.
