Ralph Orin Norton, 90, of Kennesaw passed away Thursday, May 19, 2016. Mr. Norton is preceded in death by his beloved wife Carolee Ruth Norton. Mr. Norton will be best remembered for his passion for golfing, gardening, singing, and traveling the world. He was very active as an Elder at Aspen Hill Christian Church in Maryland. Being a member in the Navy he met his wife Carolee at a USO Dance and married her soon after in 1947. Mr. Norton spent his working career as a Japanese Train Exchange Officer for the Transportation Communication Union where he traveled to Japan often and eventually learned Japanese. Mr. Norton will be greatly missed by all that knew him. He was a very loving and caring man that brightened any room with his contagious smile. Mr. Norton is survived by his two sons, Craig (Cheryl) Norton, Michael (Mary) Norton; daughter, Paula (Randy) Walls; grandchildren, Jason Walls, Bryan Walls, Kyle Norton, and Kristin Norton; and a host of other family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, May 31 2016, at 11:00am at Mars Hill Presbyterians Church in Acworth. Arrangements under the direction of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, Kennesaw, GA.
