Richard was a loving and devoted husband of 46 years as well as a father and grandfather. He had a strong love and passion for hunting at a young age and fishing throughout his life. Richard especially enjoyed tasting and sharing all of his wonderful international cooking with his family and friends. Even before he obtained his Master's of Architecture at the University of Illinois, he was skilled in the wood craft and built multiple pieces of furniture which later included Southwest American influences. He also designed and built his own home. Rick really enjoyed gardening vegetables in which hot peppers and tomatoes were his favorite. He loved traveling the U.S. seeing 49 out of the 50 states and experiencing what each state had to offer. Rick had an outgoing personality and really enjoyed sharing his opinion on a wide variety of topics.
