A friend to many, Rita was a member of Grace Life Church since 1965 and taught numerous children in the Little Learners Class. She was a homemaker who thoroughly enjoyed the family get togethers especially at the holidays. Rita had her hobbies, such as quilting, painting, antiquing, and teaching children but of all of these, her ability and passion, for teaching children trumped them all.
Rita is survived by her daughter Jennifer Miller (John); her son Jason McCain (CeeCee); her daughter-in-law Amor McCain; her grandchildren Ashlyn, Ansley, and Alia. Rita was preceded in death by her husband Larry McCain and her son Jeff McCain.
A visitation for Rita will be held Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am at Grace Life Church, 1083 Allgood Rd, Marietta, GA 30062. Following the visitation will be a funeral service at 11:30 am.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Rita's memory may be made to the Children's Ministries at Grace Life Church, 1083 Allgood Rd, Marietta, Georgia 30062.
