Mr. Luke was an Army Veteran having served during the Korean War and earned the Korean Service Medal with two Bronze Stars along with the United Nations Service Medal. After his honorable discharge from the Army, Mr. Luke went began his career at Lockheed where he retired as Material Controller. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and the Masonic Lodge, #33 F&AM in Marietta.
Those who survive are his sisters – Hollie McDearmid and Betty Jean Batts, both of Marietta, niece – Dana F. Blackstock, and great nephews – Lee Blackstock and Jeremy Blackstock.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 20 from 5pm-8pm at the funeral home.
