Ronnie was an avid sports lover and was a big fan of the Georgia Bulldogs. He enjoyed coaching baseball, football and basketball. His hobbies also included water skiing and spending time with his family. Ronnie served as the Vice President of Shaw Park. As a Navy Vietnam Veteran, Ronnie was patriotic and had great pride in his country.
Ronald Eugene Eller is preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Franklin “BF” Eller; mother, Mary Florence Mathews Eller; and sister, Nikki Eller. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sandra Kennedy Eller; sons, Shane (and wife Shana) Eller,Jason (and wife Amy) Eller; brothers, Randy (and wife Marylin) Eller, Jerry (and wife Donna) Eller; and grandchildren, Matheson, WillFranklin, Kole and Kennedy.
The family of Ronald Eller will receive friends for a visitation on Sunday, February 25, 2018 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm. A funeral service to honor the life of Ronnie will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, February 25, 2018 in the Chapel of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home. A burial will follow services at Greers Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
