Ronald Gary Fuller, age 75, of Rome, Georgia passed away in his home, on Thursday, December 23, 2021. Ronald was born in Rome, Georgia, on July 27, 1946, son of the late Grover Clarence Fuller and the late Mattie Clara (Bentley) Fuller. A visitation for Ronald will be held Tuesday, January 4, 2022 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. Following the visitation a celebration of life and remembrance service will be held at 7:30 pm and will be officiated by his nephew, Rev. J. Scott Fuller.
Ronald is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary Angelyn (Angie) Fuller; his son Todd Fuller (Nikki); daughters Melanie Gustafson (Rick), Jodie Giardino (Tommy), and Kimberly Klein (James); brothers Kenneth C. Fuller and James K. Fuller; his fourteen grandchildren Brent (Candice), Chase, Justyn, Savannah (Jeremiah), Shane, Kailey, Madison, Lilly, Cooper, Jackson, Emma, Grayson, Griffin, and Peyton. Ronald is also survived by his nieces and nephews, as well as his close family friends John and Shirley Andrews and their children and grandchildren, whom all called him Papa, as well.
Ronald was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam. Following his discharge, Ron worked hard his entire life in construction, as a contractor. He could build, paint, or repair most anything. He was a meticulous craftsman. His passion was tinkering with old cars; and he had a love for the old red Fords, particularly. He also enjoyed fishing and helping all people he felt needed him. Ronald never met a stranger and made friends everywhere he went. Most of all, he loved the huge family that he and Angie built together, and treasured every moment he got to spend with them.
Ronald will be laid to rest with Honor, in the Veterans Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA on January 18, 2022.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ronald's memory may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, woundedwarriorproject.org.
