Ronald R.Schultz, 60, Kennesaw resident died July 4, 2016. A memorial service will be held Saturday July 9, 2016, 2 p.m. at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, Kennesaw GA. Ron was a Massachusetts native, lived in Alaska, and then moved to Kennesaw in 1998. He worked as a diesel mechanic and greatly enjoyed traveling, hunting, cooking and loved to barbecue. Ron was a loving husband, father, and grandfather - his grandchildren were his life, he adored them all. Ron is survived by his mother, Helga Kobus (John Garceau); wife, Deborah Tietz; four daughters, Amy Schultz-Conway (Thomas), Sarah Barden (Jack Williams); Amanda Harp (Daniel Beckman); and Michelle Harp; son, Kenneth Harp; three brothers, Douglas Schultz (Lizabeth); Fred Schultz (Kelly); David Kobus (Tammy); grandchildren, Joshua, Kaylee, Shawn, Alexis, Emily and James and many other nieces and nephews. The family will be receiving friends and family 1pm until 2pm Saturday at the funeral home casual dress. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children Research Hospital in Ronald's name.
