

He was born on January 13, 1948 in Chester, PA to Elwood and Delphine Templin. He grew up in Aston Township, Delaware County PA and graduated from Sun Valley High School in 1965. After High School, Ron joined the Army reserves and attended Business College for data processing. He then advanced to the position of VP and Director of MIS at Pierce Business Archives.
While growing up he loved to play baseball and work on his cherished sports cars. He was very close with his older brother Dennis and hung out with him and all of their friends regularly. While attending Sun Valley High School, he met his future wife Karen Greenhalgh. They met at age 17 and were married on May 24, 1969. They had 3 children, Cori, Marc and Ryan and lived in Unionville, PA. In 1986, the family moved to Acworth GA, Ron having accepted a new position MIS Director for a firm in Atlanta.
Ron was a quiet man of faith. He was the ultimate family man, always attending baseball games for his sons and daughter and spending every minute possible with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved God, country, and family above all else. He was also very passionate about sports cars, especially Mustangs and his beloved Dallas Cowboys. He also had an avid love for animals and over the past several years, spent most of his days with his Chihuahua, Marley, at his side. He had a generous heart, and was always helping others. If you had a need and he heard about it, he would make sure you had everything you needed to get by. Ron was everything a perfect husband, father and grandfather should be.
Ron was Preceded in death by his parents Elwood Templin and Delphine Templin (Runge). Ron is survived by his wife Karen Templin (Greenhalgh); Daughter, Cori Templin; sons, Marc and Ryan Templin; 2 grandchildren, Rachel and Jesse Beasenburg and 2 great grandchildren Raylin King and Jensen Grissom; And his older brother Dennis Templin and his wife Kim.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday April 27, 2021 from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm with Funeral services to be held immediately following at 1pm at Winkenhofer Funeral Home, 2950 Cobb Parkway, Kennesaw GA
