Rosemary L. Ray, age 90, of Acworth, Georgia, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2026. Rosemary retired after 40 years with American Southern Insurance Co. Although she spent many years dedicated to her career, her greatest joy was always family. She especially treasured family visits, holidays, and time spent together with those she loved. She will be remembered for her strength, independence, and deep love for family. In recent years she preferred quieter days, but family remained at the center of her life. She was preceded in death by her longtime companion of over 40 years, Arnie Jones; her parents, Mary Joe Lewis (née Brown) and Grady Lewis; and her brother, Gene Lewis. She is survived by her children, John Ray (Anna), Alan Ray (Tina), and Cindy Ricker (Jeff), along with many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her. Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM followed by funeral service at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at WINKENHOFER PINE RIDGE FUNERAL HOME, Kennesaw, Georgia. The family welcomes flowers as an expression of sympathy.
