Born in Walhalla, S.C., Mr. Loudermilk was a combat veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the European Theater during WWII.
He lived and worked in Atlanta, GA., and Anchorage, AK., before moving to Kennesaw.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Jesse Mae Pearson; brothers, George, Albert, Lewis, Lawrence, and Howard Loudermilk; sisters, Viola Harvey and Gladys Addis. He is survived by sons, Milton “ML” (Sally) Loudermilk and Senator Barry (Desiree) Loudermik; daughter, Barbara (Dewayne) Payne; sisters, Allifair Rogers and Ruby Addis.
Family will receive friends on Monday, November 21, 2011, from 6pm to 9pm. Funeral Service will be 1:00pm, Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw, GA. Donations can be made to Compassionate Care Hospice and/or the USO.
