Shirley Jean Martin

Shirley Jean Martin, age 79, of Marietta, GA, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020. She was born on April 15, 1941 in Ringland, OK, to her loving parents Fred and Alice Baker Pope. Shirley worked as a Front End Manager for Big Star for many years. Ms. Martin enjoyed collecting Gone with the Wind memorabilia. Ms. Martin was a loving mother, grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her previous husbands, Lanier Martin, Dennis Sproul, Jerry Callaway and a daughter Penny Renee Callaway.

Shirley is survived by her loving and caring children, Richard Callaway and his wife Debbie Charnock of Williamson, GA, Vicky Williams and her significant other Geraldine Mumme of Acworth, GA; Special friend, Jack Houston of Marietta, GA; grandchildren, Jessica Williams of Acworth, GA, and Samantha and her husband Brian Hicks of Acworth, GA.

A private service and internment for Ms. Martin will be held on Friday, December 11, 2020 at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home with Pastor Greg Hall officiating. Internment will take place at Pine Ridge Memorial Park.
