Shirley Ruthanna Snodgrass

Shirley Ruthanna Snodgrass, age 80, of Dallas, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2024. Shirley was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmama, great grandmama, sister and friend. She enjoyed crocheting, shopping, camping, fishing, and sewing, Shirley liked to sing, play the piano and driving a school bus. The most important thing in her life was her family, she will be loved and missed by all that knew her.

Shirley is survived by her son Larry Bailey (April); daughters, Anita Greenway (Daniel), Elita Blackwell (Daniel); and her sister, Jo Durham ; her brother, Bobby Baker (Mabel); sister-in-law Jean Baker grandchildren, Ashley Sellars (Scott), Stacie Brooks (Michael ), Kristen Bailey, Aaron Greenway, Trevor Bailey (Kendall Terry), Trisha Bailey (Payne Hogg): great grandchildren, Evalee Sellars, Samuel Sellars,Malachi Brooks, Grace Brooks, Abigail Brooks, Chandler Gay, Jayla Gay and Brayden Gay, several nieces and nephews.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband William Snodgrass; her parents, Joseph Glenn Baker and Gertrude Elizabeth Adair Baker; brother William Baker, and brother-in-law Edward Durham

A visitation for Shirley will be held Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Sunday August 25, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Sunday, August 25, 2024 at 2:00 PM. Burial will be Sunday, at Hickory Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 2862 Hickory Grove Rd. NW, Acworth, GA.
