Stan was very proud of his service in the Navy. Afterwards, he worked as a Clean Room Manager at Georgia Tech for many years. Some of the projects that he participated in are still in space to this day.
He loved being surrounded by his loved ones and friends. Especially, if they were on the golf course. Golf was his favorite hobby, with traveling being a close second. And if he was traveling, there better be a good seafood restaurant nearby.
Stan is preceded in death by his parents, Nathan Halpern and Dora Bassion Halpern.
He is survived by his loving wife Regina Halpern; brother, Neal Halpern; and his best friend for over 40 years, “Fred.”
A visitation for Stan will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, GA 30152, followed by a celebration of life from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
