Sue was a longtime member of St. Stephens United Methodist Church in Marietta. She was a homemaker who provided a loving home for her family and friends alike. A fabulous cook, Sue prepared three square meals a day for her family, which at times included many of the neighborhood kids. Her and Cecil's children had many friends and their home in Marietta quickly became the gathering spot. In her spare time Sue enjoyed yard sales, volunteering at the schools, reading, and doing not only her laundry but at times she would visit Martha's house and do hers. For many in her community, Sue will be remembered as loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend by all who cherish her memory.
A visitation for Sue will be held Sunday, January 27, 2019 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 Cobb Pkwy NW, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. A chapel service will follow with Randy Wadsworth officiating. Entombment will take place after the service at Pineridge Memorial Park, in Kennesaw. In lieu of customary remembrances, donations may be made in Sue's memory to Must Ministries at www.mustministries.org.
