Verlon David Hill passed away September 22 ,2021 In Dallas, Georgia. He was born February 20, 1944 in Marietta, Georgia to his parents William and Elzora Hill. Verlon was married to his wife, Jacqulyn “Jackie” Hill for 58 years and 10 months. Together, the two shared a beautiful life together. Verlon had a successful 77 years and was able to live his life to the fullest. He was a loving and devoted husband to his wife, a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He went to work at the age of 15 years old to his father take care of the family. His love for church and the Lord was always at the head of his life. He was a Sunday School Teacher and Deacon. Verlon was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church in Acworth, Georgia.
Verlon Hill was preceded in death by his parents, William and Elzora Hill. He was also preceded in death by his son Ricky and his daughter Pamela Hill, and sister, Anna Mae Morgan. Mr. Hill is survived by his loving family that will cherish him and his legacy forever. He is survived by his sons David (Janet) Hill, Michael (Paige) Hill, and his daughter Anita Hill. He is also survived by his sister Ruby Sargent. His grandchildren will all continue to have their grandfather live through them, as he is survived by Darnell, Robby, Jonathan, Joshua, Devyn, Daulton, Brady, Gracen, Colby, and Addison and his seven great grandchildren. Verlon Hill will be missed dearly.
