

Mrs. Baccay was a wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She had a deep love for her family and had a special place in her heart for children. She had worked as a Pre-K teacher for KinderCare for over 19 years.
Mrs. Baccay truly loved all things music and had obtained a Masters in Music Education to pass her love onto others. She taught Piano lessons, sang in multiple church choirs, and would find joy in volunteering for children choirs. Mrs. Baccay made a lasting impression on her Philippino-American Children's Choir at the annual Dogwood Festivals in Atlanta.
Mrs. Baccay and her husband, Romeo, were beloved members of Saint Catherine of Sienna Roman Catholic Church in Kennesaw.
Virginia Pabalan Baccay is preceded in death by her parents, Luis Manday Pabalan and Beatriz Tuazon Pabalan; father and mother in law, Pelagio Baccay and Marciana Arao Baccay; sister, Gigi Pabalan Boldo; brother, Eddie Pabalan; and brother in laws, Marcelo Baccay and Domingo Baccay. Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Romeo A. Baccay of Acworth; two daughters, Eleanor Reece and her husband, Adam, of Washington D.C. and Cristina Holdsworth and her husband, Chris, of Atlanta; grandsons, Isaiah Reece and Noah Holdsworth; granddaughter, Isabella Holdsworth; brothers, David Pabalan and his wife, Violy, Louie Pabalan and his wife, Maricel, and Bobby Pabalan and his wife, Paulinda; sisters, Cecilia Pabalan Tolentino and her husband, Tony, Lourdes Pabalan Linasan and her husband, Rudy, and Malou Pabalan Bautista and her husband, Nolan; brother in laws, Dieggs Boldo, Bruno Baccay and his wife, Maxima, Brix Baccay and his wife, Norma, and Gregoria Baccay and his wife, Emma; sister in laws, Vicky Pabalan, Lorenza Baccay Bucayu and her husband, Phillip, Leony Baccay O'Conner and her husband, Anson, Rufina Baccay Maramag and her husband, Nestor, Consolacion Baccay, and Aida Mateo. Mrs. Baccay also leaves many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins behind to cherish her memory.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 2, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Saint Catherine of Sienna Roman Catholic Church in Kennesaw. Interment will follow at Pine Ridge Memorial Park in Kennesaw.
