Mrs. Virginia Ann Hopkins of Acworth passed away March 6, 2013. She was a member of Harvest Baptist Church and loved the beach. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Flora Lee Owens Laster and her sister, Carolyn Littleton. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Harley (Hoppy) Hopkins, who retired from Lockheed,; daughter Laura and Terrell Gravitt; son, David and Susan Griswell; stepchildren, Allen Hopkins, Robin Thomas, Debbie Keller; grandchildren, Dakota Gravitt, Harvey Cuevas, Hanna Jean Cuevas, Lydia Hopkins, Dylan Hopkins, Cassie Faletti, Brandon Hopkins, Jennifer Hopkins, Nick Keller; great grandchildren, Tanner Hopkins and Brayden Hopkins. Funeral service will be held Saturday at 1 PM at Harvest Baptist Church, 3460 Kellogg Creek Road, Acworth, GA 30102 with remains placed instate at 12:30 PM. Dr. Dan Reed officiating. Interment will follow at Decatur City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
