I worked with Wade at Piedmont in Atlanta. He was never without something smart and funny to say to keep me laughing when the schedule was blowing up! He was also the absolute best at talking me out of being mad when the doctors were acting up. He was a great guy and so young. Will be praying for his family.

I worked with Wade at Piedmont in the Cath Lab. He eventually became our supervisor. I would go hang out in his office to complain about someone acting a fool or sometimes we would just chat. One time as I was sitting there chatting I noticed that he had a lot of styrofoam coffee cups on his desk and on the shelves above his desk. I was like “Wade, why do you have so many coffee cups?” Then he shared his secret with me of what was in those cups...EWW!
I actually thought of Wade a couple of days ago out of nowhere. I wondered where he was and how he was doing. Maybe a part of me knew he was home with our Father.
RIP Wade. You were a good man and you will be missed.
My most sincere condolences to the Sumrall family.

I worked with Wade a few years back at the Piedmont Cathlab and he eventually became my supervisor. As my supervisor he always encouraged me to do those things that were beneficial to my life and to my career. After he left and I would see him from time to time , we would chat, and talk a bit about Saints football. Wade was a really good man... I’m truly sad that he’s gone. If he had such a positive impact on my my life I can only imagine the pain and sadness of those closest to him must have. You are all in my prayers and I pray that God provides you healing and comfort during this time. Rest In Peace Mr Sumrall.
