He is survived by his daughters; Beverly Wharton and husband Craig Wharton, Kay Spencer, Barbara Hensley; grandchildren Leslie Wharton, Craig Wharton Jr, Jennifer Carson, Brandon Thacker, Anthony Peels, Allen Peels and Amanda Dennis.
His wishes were to be cremated. The family will have privates services for Mr. Spencer.
