Wesley Frank Austin Jr., age 64, of Acworth, Georgia passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2023. He was born in Biloxi, Mississippi and was raised in Ocean Springs, Mississippi by the late Wesley and Mary Kathryn Austin. Wesley was a great Disc Golf player, as well as a semi-professional baseball player. He was an avid reader and taught his children to be avid readers as well. Wesley was very outgoing and never met a stranger. He loved his wife and children dearly and spent as much time with them as he could. Wesley was a loving son, brother, husband, father and friend. He will be missed by all that knew him.
Wesley is survived by his wife of over 35 years, Me Yen Austin, his children; Timothy Austin and Mary Kathryn Austin II, and his brother; Steve Carroll and his wife Chris Carroll.
A visitation for Wesley will be held Saturday, May 20, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM.
