Jarelle was a family man who loved every moment he spent with his wife, daughters and grandchildren. He enjoyed participating in his daughters' activities and sporting events. Jarelle coached football, girl's basketball and girl's softball. He was a substitute teacher at Kennesaw Mountain High School and Allatoona High School where he was known for singing "the popcorn song." For over thirty years Jarelle worked as the clock operator at Georgia Tech for the men's basketball team. He had a very loving heart and a great sense of humor. Jarelle volunteered every Wednesday at Kennestone Hospital for ten years. Volunteering brought him much joy, especially in transporting the newborn babies and mothers as they were being discharged. Jarelle will be missed by all who knew him.
Jarelle attended Bass High School where he graduated from night school in 1964. He worked for the State Labor Department, the U.S. Postal Service (Buckhead) and Atlanta Gas Light where he retired.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sandra McWilliams Bullock; daughters, Laurie (Richie) Bullock McKenney and Angie (Doug) Bullock Cook; grandchildren, Andrew (Chamberlynn) Campuzano, Catie (Andrew) Campuzano Mackey, Nicholas (Brittney) McKenney, and Abagail Brock; and great-grandchildren, Parker Mackey and Jaxon McKenney.
