Edward/Ed was always an advocate for fun…scuba diving, water and snow skiing, and sky diving. He was a great Harley motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed sharing stories with the other members of the Christian Motorcycle Club.
He earned his Master’s in History specializing in the Civil War period and became an enthusiast of Civil War reenactments where he served as an artillery officer.
More importantly, he loved his family: wife, Julie, his two sons Tyler and his wife Bailey and their two little daughters, Lydia and Cassidy; Scott, his wife Lauren and their little daughter, Violet; his sister Josephine and her husband Drew, who reside in South Carolina.
Prior to retirement, Edward/Ed worked in the medical field including General Electric, as well as Northside Cherokee and North Fulton Hospitals
He attended River Church in Woodstock and lived by the famous quote from Paul the Apostle, “But as for you, O man of God, flee evil. Pursue righteousness, Godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, gentleness.”
