William Austin Starnes Sr., age 78, of Acworth, Georgia passed away on Wednesday February 12, 2020. William was born January 12, 1942 in Marietta, GA.

William is survived by; daughter Gina Bagley (Rodney); and son William Starnes, Jr.; granddaughter Morgan Bagley, granddaughter Taylor Starnes, granddaughter Mary Starnes, granddaughter Ashley Starnes, grandson Dusty Starnes, grandson Greg Starnes and numerous great grandchildren. William was preceded in death by his wife Beverly.

William was a longtime member of Open Doors Church and had worked 35 years with Yellow Freight as a Diesel Mechanic.

A visitation for William will be held Friday, February 14, 2020 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 Cobb Pkwy NW, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. Visitation on Saturday from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. A chapel service will occur Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park, 120 Memorial Drive, Canton, Ga 30114.

Serving as pallbearers are Jerry Blalack, Donnie Starnes, Derrick Starnes, Greg Starnes, Oscar Blalack and George Seabolt.

Fuzz was an awesome family friend more like family than a friend my husband Wesley and Fuzz worked at Yellow together for a long time .And when Wes got hurt he was the first one to be there for me and my children and grandchildren he truly was a welcome site in our time of need .Our prayers are with all of you.He will be missed ,love you Fuzz
