Mr.William "Bug" Dwight Strickland, age 64, of Atlanta, Georgia passed away on Tuesday March 27, 2018. Dwight was born August 8, 1953 in Cartersville, Georgia to Julia Mae Strickland and Thomas William Strickland. Dwight was an animal lover especially cats at one time he had seven, he enjoyed watching television, cookouts, fishing and bowling. Dwight loved the beach and was a man of faith.
Dwight is survived sisters; Faye Bishop, Diane Merrell, Lena Brown, brother-in-laws; CH Bishop and David Brown, and many nieces and nephews.
Dwight was preceded in death by his parents: Julia Mae and Thomas William Strickland; brother Dewayne Strickland and sister Patricia Louise Strickland.
A visitation for Dwight will be held Friday, March 30, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, Funeral service will be Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will be Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Sunrise Memorial Gardens, 3721 Bankhead Highway, Douglasville, Georgia 30134.
