William David Vetter

William David Vetter, age 88 returned to his heavenly father on June 30, 2025. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on April 21, 1937 to the late Julius and Addie B Vetter. Bill, as he was known, was an Air Force Reserve Veteran and worked in the family produce business from an early age. He went on to become the pioneer of packaged, ready to eat produce. Well known in the industry as the pioneer that started the prepackaged industry process.

Bill was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was preceded in death by his late wife, Carol C. of 52 years, his oldest daughter, Dorothy "Dottie" Ray, his brothers; Kenneth, Jay and Robert "Bob" Vetter. He will forever be cherished by his family daughters; Carol Randall, Julie Jedrzejak (Jeff), Jeannette Vetter, and Diane Vetter, his grandchildren, Jennifer White, Erika Ikner, Samantha Gesford, Kevin, Kyle, Krista Randall, Tyler and Parker Jedrzejak, Zachary Vetter, and great grandchildren; Landon, Ty, and Kroy Randall, Briley and Willow White, Sydney Ikner.

A funeral mass for William will be held Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 87 Lacy St NW, Marietta, GA 30060. Following the funeral mass will be a committal service at Kennesaw Memorial Park, 1306 Whitlock Ave SW, Marietta, GA 30064.
