Mr. William Edgar "Ed" Wilbanks Sr., age 87 of Acworth, GA., passed away Tuesday February 28, 2012. Funeral services will be held Friday March 2, 2012 at 2 pm from the Chapel of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home Kennesaw, GA,, with Rev. Tom Mahan and Rev. Lance McKinnon officiating. Burial will follow in the Rolling Hills Memory Gardens Acworth, GA..Mr. Wilbanks was a native of Bartow Co., and was retired from General Motors Corp., after many years of service. He is preceded in death by his wife; Gladys Cline Wilbanks, Parents; William H.and Rosa Lee Wilbanks, Brothers; Dee, Tom, and C.L Wilbanks and Sister; Mozelle Cantrell. Surviving are; Son; William Edgar "Jr" Wilbanks Jr., Acworth, GA., Daughter; Wilma and husband Gary Minter, Acworth, GA., Sister; Ruby Jenkins, Acworth, GA., Granddaughter; Tracey Prange Several neices and nephews.
