

Wyatt Anson Owenby, 30, of Woodstock, GA died on November 6, 2025. He was born February 10, 1995, to Melek Traylor Owenby and Daniel Owenby. Wyatt was preceded in death by his grandparents. Growing up in the Kennesaw and Woodstock area, Wyatt attended Heritage Presbyterian Church, participated in Boy Scout Troops 220 & 217, played in the Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestra, and graduated from Kell High School (2013). He enlisted in the US Marine Corps where he was trained as a Truck Driver and Logistics Specialist but spent a lot of time on ships. After leaving the Marines in December 2018 as a Sergeant, Wyatt enrolled in Chattahoochee Tech and graduated as a Machinist in December 2020. He then worked at Kirk-Rudy as a CNC Machinist until January 2025 when he left to found Atlanta Rapid Manufacturing along with 2 other partners. An avid shooter who excelled at his craft, Wyatt belonged to Riverbend Gun Club and competed regularly at the state and regional level. Most recently he competed at the Beretta Classic at Old Hudson Plantation where he had a podium finish once again. He is survived by his life partner Julie McAlister, his parents, and his brother Cody Owenby. Wyatt made friends everywhere he went and all are invited to the memorial service planned for 3 p.m. on November 23, 2025, at Heritage Presbyterian Church, 5323 Bells Ferry Road, Acworth, GA.
