Yvonne Jean was born in Haiti in 1935. She migrated to the US in 1970, in search of a better life for her children. She left her children in the trusted hands of her parents, Meliana Francois, Monfils Fislaime, and sister Celina Eustache Pierre. For 7 years she and our father worked tirelessly, to bring all their children to the US. They finally arrived in 1977. Family and God have always been in the forefront of her life. After years of battling dementia, she succumbed to the disease, on October 25th, 2020, surrounded by family. Yvonne is survived by her beloved Husband: Pierre Lafleur Jean Children: Sadraque, Edna, Berliette, Jacques, Carmel, Ginou, Foufoune and Ducarmel. Grandchildren: Serginio, Spencer, Cassandra, Magglyn, Guerbyson, Ashley, Geoffrey, Daphney, Tyler, Tatianna, Woody, Eddy, Mckenzy, Princessca, Patricia, Johnnie, Gary, Megan, Keith, Marissa, Racquel, Destiny, Deovanni Great-grandchildren: Jaylen, Shania, Lauryn, Natalia, Izabella, Bryson, Amiyah, Areyanna, Addison, Ava, Jaycee, Kadence, Amelija, Mason, Skylar Sanai and Zion Anthony Siblings: Bernadette, Celina, Alourde, Dominick, Milo and their respective family. To Yvonne everyone was family, not just the ones listed above. There is a saying in Westbury, "The entire group of people from Archaie, seems to be related to this family." Our Mom, Yvonne was a shy and humble woman, who centered her life around family and Christ.
