On Sunday, January 24, 2016, at his residence in Whitefish Bay, Alfred Henry passed away suddenly at the age of 73 years.
Alfred leaves behind his children and step-children, Lorna, Tina, Alfred, Stella, Sandra, Alfred Jr., Dana, Shaun, Vincent, Jason, Melissa, George, Aldo and Vernie and too many of his grandchildren and great-grand children to mention. Alfred will be sadly missed by his siblings Margaret (Wawa), Agnes (Hogie), Alice (Mooni’qwa), Eddie and Florence (Ingwa).
Alfred is predeceased by his parents, Guy Henry and Catherine Bird, his common-law wife, Barbra White and siblings Clarence Henry Sr. and Doris Henry, his son Gabriel and grandchildren Dominic and Willow.
Alfred was born in Dalles First Nation and moved to Whitefish Bay, where he spent his life fishing, hunting, trapping and attending Pow-wows. He spent 35 years and enjoyed working at Baibombeh School until his retirement.
Wake Services will be held by Kenny Kakeeway Sr. at Northwest Angle#33 Community Hall on Wednesday, January 27, 2016, service will start on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 9:00 am, burial will be held at Dalles First Nation.
