Barbara Barkman

April 19, 1966 – December 10, 2017

With her family by her side Barbara Barkman a resident of Kenora, Ontario passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre, at the age of 51.

She is survived by husband of 20 years Floyd Barkman, children Aaron Cook, Joey Cook and fiancé Adrianna Pronteau, Nicholas Cook and spouse Kayla Wood, Matthew Barkman and Madison Barkman, grandchildren Nyla Cook, Julianna Cook, Alexis Cook and Grey Cook. She is also survived by her siblings Susan Cook-Cromarty, Bella Cook-Loon, Edith Cook-Wesley, Bert Cook, Georgina Cook-Sakakeesic, Liza Cook and Maggie Cook-Petiquan. She was predeceased by her parents John Cook and Juliet Cromarty-Cook.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 15, 2017 at 1:30 pm at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre with Pastor Rob Wittmeier officiating. Interment will follow at the Lake of the Woods Cemetery.
