I deeply admired and respected the strength of Nanny. She was direct with me and took care in a way that created independence because she let you do things yourself. Memories walking together, hanging the laundry and baking blueberry pie at the green house, visiting her and Gigi at Maynard Lake growing up, our girls week together in Hawaii was a big deal to both of us, and even the visits in the last 5 years which were very hard but I still looked forward to this connection with her. I loved her very much and that doesn't stop. I know she is at peace. All my love always, Kristen
