It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather Charles Borden Crowley with his family by his side.
He will be sadly missed by his son Dean, stepson Dennis Simoneau (June) and stepdaughter Shelley James, 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother Robert Crowley and extended family.
He was predeceased by his wife Eileen and brother Jim. Charles was born November 4, 1929 in Kenora to William and Oral Crowley and lived in Laclu most of his life. He worked all his life as a carpenter for Bergmans and Lindstroms before retiring and working for himself in the Laclu area.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spent most of his time in the Laclu area where he lived.
The family would like to thank the staff at Pinecrest Home for the Aged for the wonderful care they provided for Charlie.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Donations can be made in Charlie’s memory to the cat shelter or a charity of one’s choice.
