Doris Hunter

May 4, 1945September 1, 2020

It is our great sadness that we announce that our mother Doris Hunter passed away peacefully at Lake of the Woods District Hospital on the evening of September 1, 2020.

Our dear mother lived her life to the fullest as she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren.

She enjoyed her time in her kitchen baking her goods and sharing her recipes, also she enjoyed the outdoors with a fish fry to end the day, she always looked forward to her blueberry picking days with her friends.

Our mother had the honour of raising her special great granddaughter Kyra Jolie as her own child, our mother was quite a character, she enjoyed joking around, loved putting puzzles together, and sharing her stories… for those we will surely miss!

She took a great pride in her completing her post-secondary education and gained two college diplomas, Community Health through Cambrian College and Social Services through St. Lawrence College.
