Theresa, I am the friend that used to visit your mom weekly after my barbershop practice.  I took a new job therefore moved to Gore Bay, Ontario (19 hours away) at the end of April so did my best at explaining that to your mom.  Since my husband and family didn't come with me until school was out, when I returned to Kenora monthly, I would go visit your mom.  I have been meaning to pick up the phone and call her the last couple months to see how she was and now I can't.  I so wish I would have done that earlier.  She was such a wonderful lady and she was always so happy when I would come to have tea with her.  I know you have had a hard year Theresa, losing your husband and now your mom.  Elsa used to talk about your sister so now she can be with her.  She would talk about your brother in Winnipeg also.  She was a wonderful lady and always talked so kindly about you and your family.  My condolences are with you, your brother and your families.  She lived a wonderful life and the Home will miss her dearly!!!!!!!!
