Mr. Eric Rose

Eric Christopher Rose passed away on December 31, 2011 in Kingston, Ontario. He was born on March 1, 1975 in Kenora, Ontario.

He is survived by his parents John and Dolly, brothers Kenneth and Jeff (Holly), a niece Emerson, and nephew Tucker. He is also survived by many caring aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was predeceased by his grandparents Chas and Marion Rose, and Henri and Julie Boisvert (Brown).

Eric lived in Kenora and attended local schools until

age 17. He left Kenora and lived in many places in Canada including Yukon, Victoria, Vancouver, Nelson, Thunder Bay, and Kingston. When he returned home for visits

he enjoyed fishing, camping and nature walks with family and friends.

Even though Eric suffered from depression, this did not stop him from becoming an accomplished guitarist, artist, and computer whiz. He enjoyed composing his own music, all of which was self-taught.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 9, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, with Rev. Cathy Giroux officiating.
