Mr. Frank Rose

Mr. Frank Rose, a resident of Kenora, Ontario, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on November 6, 2016.

He was born in Niagara Falls on November 5, 1948.

Frank is survived by his loving wife Marie of 44 years, children Darren (wife Tracey), Sean (Vicki Wyder), grandson Aiden, very close family friends and adopted family Ted, Jana, and Reece Becker, siblings Bruce Malcolm (wife Dorothy), and their children Susan, Nancy, Ian, John Rose and his children Morgan and Connor.

He was predeceased by his father Harold Rose, mother Winnifred Rose and sister Winnie Rose.

Frank began his policing career with the Niagara Falls Parks Police prior to joining the OPP. Frank was posted in Ear Falls, Ontario where he met his loving wife Marie and later transferred to Kenora. Frank worked many years on Lake of the Woods where he enjoyed all activities outdoors.

Frank retired in 2000 from the OPP, he was well respected throughout his career with the OPP, a friend and family member to all.

In the later years of his retirement he loved to travel to Mexico and he always had a smile and a story to tell “EVERYONE.”

Celebration of Frank’s life will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre.
