With his wife by his side Frank passed away at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Science Centre.
He survived by his loving wife Carol Henley-Messervier and his children Sylvain Deshaies (Lorette), France Lavoie (Dan), Peter Messervier, Vicki Messervier, Dave Messervier (Marsha), Cassandra Messervier (Ben) and step-children Jami Young (Neil), Krissie Kirkpatrick (Jer) and James Henley. Grandchildren Shanouk, Brittany, Cody, Gaby, Mellisa, Alexandria, Faith, Nicholas, Trista, Tisto, Cheyanne, Catherine, Theo, Skyler, Talya, Kayne, Ava, Kennadie and Romeo. Great Grandpa and honorary Grandpa to many. His siblings Rene Messervier, Margo Coulombe, Marie Coulombe, and Therese Messervier.
Frank was devoted in his faith and regularly attended church services at Jubilee Church. Through-out his life Frank regularly raised money for Canadian Ride for Sight and The Canadian Army Veteran Motorcycle Units. He was very passionate about raising money and getting the word out to help these charities.
Frank was best known for riding around town on his Goldwing trike and then his scooter with stuffed animals. He always had a smile and a conversation for everyone.
Frank was predeceased by his parents, his brothers Paul and Benoit and his grandson Yari Maki.
Frank’s last ride will be June 21, 2025 at 10:00am at The Discovery Centre, the ride will end at The “Old” Armories at the corner of Matheson Street N. and First Street N. in Kenora, Ontario. A light lunch will follow.
In lieu of flowers consider making a donation to Canadian Ride for Sight, Canadian Army Veterans Motorcycle Unit or Lake of the Woods District Hospital.
