Hannah Kristin Bird passed away on August 11, 2012 at Shoal Lake #39 Pow Wow Grounds.
She loved spending time with family and friends, doing her own hair in different colors, make up, took care of her appearance, she loved everything “Hello Kitty”. She loved volleyball, had the most utmost respect for everyone, thought about everybody else first before herself, loved travelling with Mom. She was a fancy shawl dancer, sentiment moments was her baby talking with Mom, very independent, good sense of humour, powerful girl, never demanding. She was always joking loved to smile, she had an infectious laugh, always slept with her big teddy Pete.
She is survived by Nancy Rosaline Sandy (James), Brian Russell Bird (Prairie), sister Harmony, brother Hayden, grandparents Colleen and Frank, Eddie and Sharon, uncles, Ellis, Alwyn, Gilbert, Bailey, Rick, Rodney, Merlin, Tommy, Edwin, Roger, Larry, Dwayne, Ron, Luke, Ernie, Eddie Jr. and Rodney, aunties, Adeline, Catherine, Marion, special friends Autumn Kelly (Onigaming) and Sora Hudsen (Korea), numerous relatives and friends too many to mention.
Wake Service will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at Onigaming School starting at 2:00 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at Onigaming school at 11:00 a.m. with Elder Clifford Skead officiating a traditional ceremony.
Interment will follow at Onigaming.
Pallbearers will be Merlin Sandy, Ellis Cowley, Alwyn Cowley, Rodney Petewanaqueb, Roger Bird and Ernie Petewanaqueb.
