Louise Ogemah

April 3, 1965 – May 19, 2018

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Louise Ogemah, mother, sister, aunt, friend, partner, who resided in Red Deer, Alberta. She was born in Kenora and grew up in Upsala. She was welcomed on the other side by her parents, Jessie and Fred Ogemah, her brother, Charles Ogemah, numerous aunts and uncles & her nephew, Langford Mason Ogemah.

She is survived by her partner, Clarence, her children, Christopher (Qwidabur) Ogemah (Alexis), Cory (Coolie) Ogemah, Warren (Ozwin) Smith (Amanda), Aaron (Sweets) Smith (Heather), her daughter, Regine (Bulla Bulla) Ogemah, her brothers, Langford (Martina), Joey, her aunt Helen Benn of Red Deer, her nieces Charlene, Leanne, Stephanie, Bernice and Sarah, her nephews Charles, Christian, William, and Alex. Louise was blessed with 10 grandchildren, Leondre, Kobe, Cleo, Valryn, Maggie, Bella, Daniel, Misty, Gabriel and Amethyst. She also leaves behind great nephews and nieces, too many to mention.

Louise was a loving protective mother to her children, an awesome cook whom we’d flock to when she made her soup and bannock, she was crazy, a good crazy, you could always count on her for a good laugh! She was a free spirit who wasn’t afraid of just going. She loved going for her nature walks with her partner and loved taking pictures of sunsets. We will truly miss being greeted with the “spock” hold.

Loved always, forever missed!

Wake Service will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at the Rat Portage Community Hall beginning at 11:00 am. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, May 27, 2018 T 11:00 am at the Rat Portage Community Hall with interment to follow.
