Mary Louise Sahora

She was born in September 9, 1948 in Kenora, Ontario.

She was predeceased by her parents Joseph Strong and Harriet Keewatin, brothers and sisters Louie Strong, Joseph Strong, William Strong, Mary Strong, Nancy Fobister (Strong), Martha Petiquan and Annie Payash.

She leaves behind her children Donna Ray (Strong), Howard Strong, Jeremy Sahora, Cathy Strong and Raymond Petiquan. As well as nieces and nephews Shirley Keewatin, Mary Rose Scott , Leo Lewis Strong (Sarah Jane Strong), David Keon Fobister, Doreen Strong, Jeffrey Fontaine, Edith Strong, Janice Ray (Strong), Terry Fobister, Roland Fobister, Eric Fobister, Angela Petiquan, Gary Copenace, Connie Copenace, Lisa Strong and Louise Strong, friends Cathy Patzel and her daughter Hope Derouin, as well as her many friends from the Fellowship Centre, Morningstar Centre and Wiigwas Elder and Senior Care.

Louise loved being outdoors, she loved going blueberry picking, she and her family would travel by canoe from Farlane, Favel, Canon, MacIntosh to Jones.

A wake service will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Niisaachewan Anishinaabe Nation Economic of Excellence Auditorium, Dalles, Ontario. Traditional funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at 10:00 am at Niisaachewan Anishinaabe Nation Economic of Excellence Auditorium with interment to follow at Niisaachewan Anishinaabe Nation Cemetery, Dalles, Ontario.
