I had the pleasure of working with Merv when I started as a young Maintenance Engineer at the Mill. He set the standard on how to deal with people, and  any mechanical issues that came up on the paper machines. He was calm, cool and always had a happy outlook.

So  sad and sorry to hear of  Mervs  passing . I. had the distinct pleasure of working  with him for a lot of years at the mill . Besides being very smart and helpful he always seemed calm and collected when  we had chaos, which was frequent in  the paper manufacturing  world . His quiet  demeanour and his sense of humour was always appreciated . I will miss his presence  and my condolences to the family.

Mervin was Delphine’s cousin. She was my mother. His aunt Hilda was my grandmother. I remember him building his house and summers at my grandmothers camp at Alfreds property. Condolences to his siblings and the family. God bless you in these difficult times. Michael, Janet and Elaine Shouldice.
