Myrtle Minerva Bryan

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of our Mother, Sister, Aunt,

Grandmother and Great Grandmother at the age of 86.

Minerva was predeceased by her Mom & Dad, Doris (1976) and Art (1973),

Sister in Law Peggy Saunders (1999), Niece Candace Harris, Brother Doug (2001),

Sister Elizabeth Wilson (2002), Aunt Elsie Johnston (2000) and Son Kenneth (Colleen) Bryan (2011).

Minerva was born in Lockport, MB and eventually moved to Kenora, ON where she began her family.

She eventually had five children and moved to Winnipeg, MB in 1967. Where her family grew to six

children in 1971. After graduation of her last child (Michael) in 1989 Minerva moved back home to Kenora, ON.

It is here she enjoyed her golden years with family, friends and her long list of old movies.

Minerva’s siblings left to cherish her memories are brothers Carl (Joan) Saunders, George Saunders

of Kenora, ON and Gordon Saunders of Victoria, B.C. She is also survived by her children,

Bruce (Judy) Strathmore, AB., Rita (Lorne) Hintz, Rod (Carol) Bryan of Thompson, MB., Beverly (Tim) Stem

of Narol, MB., and Michael Bryan of Winnipeg, MB.

Also left to cherish her memory are numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place ad there will be no formal service in keeping with Minerva’s wishes.

Family would like to extend a special thank you to Rita, her care giver and best friend.
