Percy passed away on November 7, 2020 at his residence in Whitefish Bay, Ontario, he was born in Ear Falls, Ontario.
He was predeceased by his parents, William Gauthier S.R, Mary Jane Kelly, siblings: Rosaline Cowley, Margaret Gauthier, Madeline Kakeeway, Willy Kakegamick, (Mary Jane Gauthier his niece).
He is survived by his siblings: Albert Punch, Ida Kenny, his children William (Heather), Willard, Percy J.R (Emily), Jaqua (Marlon) and Wallace, former partner Marina Andrijenko and her daughter Dee McDonald. As well as grandchildren Keegan, Liberty, Eden, Brooklyn, Amiah, Asher, Dallas, Isabella, Emma, Kylen and Khaos and his nieces/nephews Rhonda,( Blondie) Everett, (Aretha) and many other nieces, nephews, friends and relatives too numerous to mention
He worked as trucker, carpenter and a guide in Great Bear Lake N.W.T he was a talented artist, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and loved his card games he also enjoyed his visits with his family and friends and loved his children and grandchildren very much....
He is also survived by his brother in-law Fred Cowley and his nephew Stewart Kakeeway who loved being in the outdoors as much as Percy, he will be greatly missed by his best friends Jay Cowley Ronald White and Eddie Bird.
Wake service will begin on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 3:30 pm at the Whitesfish Bay School Gymnasium. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 13, 2020 beginning at 11:00 am with burial to follow at Whitefish Bay First Nation.
