November 6, 1927 – January 22, 2026
The family is saddened to announce the passing of Rachel Belair nee Cote on January 22, 2026 at the age of 98, she was a longtime resident of Kenora, Ontario.
She was predeceased by her husband Ken Belair, daughter Janet Belair, her parents Fank and Emma Cote, all of her siblings, she was the last surviving member of her family.
She is survived by her son Kerry Belair, granddaughter Brooklyn Belair, as well as many nieces, nephews and family members too numerous to mention.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother whose life was fulfilled with the joy of raising her children, she also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren whenever the opportunity presented itself.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026 at 1:00pm at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre with interment to follow at the Lake of the Woods Cemetery.
